PRADOREY, ONE OF THE MOST VISITED WINERY IN RIBERA DEL DUERO
They are in the ROYAL SITE OF VENTOSILLA, a large three-thousand-hectare estate bought by Isabella the Catholic Monarch in 1503. A place laden with beauty and history, barely an hour and a half from Madrid, where you can discover their project first-hand: one of the most ambitious and innovative enterprises in the Ribera del Duero, the Duero riverside. During the tours and tastings, you will enjoy the passion for the world of wine.
They make all wines exclusively with their own grapes. Very few can say the same. They have returned to their grandparents’ old ways of making wine; they are pioneers in Ribera del Duero winemaking in centuries-old earthenware jars and in fermentation with native yeasts… and they are also champions in innovation. The result is natural, fresh, thoughtfully made wines that fully reflect the character of their land.

At an average height of 815 metres above sea level, it produces grapes of great colour and structure, thanks to a high proportion of clay-limestone soil, the result of the sedimentation of particles that the river Gromejón carried in suspension millions of years ago.

The wine takes one of the surnames of the owner of Pradorey, Javier Cremades de Adaro, and reflects the values that are behind his winemaking concept. In his own words, they can be shared by any grape grower: “daring, patience, loving care, satisfaction”. Adaro comes from the most special terroir in Pradorey, Hoyo Dornajo, and is perhaps the most carefully-tended wine of its entire portfolio.
